I'm having some trouble reworking my running schedule. My schedule has me running on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday...with Saturday being my "long" run day. Lee now has class on Tuesday and Thursday nights leaving me as a single mama with a dilemma...
This means no running on Thursday evenings.
I could run in the morning, but it is hard enough getting up at 5 a.m. and getting us all out the door on time. Let's be honest, I don't sleep, so getting up earlier isn't much of an issue. However, I have to eat and digest a bit before I run on the treadmill in the morning or I get dizzy and nearly pass out. I could run on the treadmill after Lilly goes to bed at 7:30, but then I can't get to sleep until 11 o'clock or so.
I don't want to fudge to much with my schedule because I don't want many runs on days next to my long runs. What to do...what to do...
Ugh...ideas?

Polar Dash Training Schedule - Completed
Did I hit the number of miles I wanted to? No, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I didn't do too terrible...*shrug* Now, on to Get Lucky 7k training!

Polar Dash 5k Training Schedule
So, I'm not really sure that I need a schedule to "train" for this 5k, but I created one (along with one for the Get Lucky 7k and then the Minneapolis Half Marathon) to keep me on track and actually running. I figured I would post it every once in a while to keep myself accountable! I plan on using my Sunday runs (at least) to run outside in preparation for the whole "running-outside-on-the-1st-of-the-year" thing. Wish me luck! I am actually looking forward to running outside...I still hate the treadmill... Any ideas/suggestions on how to make it better???

As the End of 2011 Approaches...
I've met shredded some of my biggest goals this year:
- Run a 5k
- Stay active
- Hit 155 pounds
- Keep off the weight
I'm excited to keep things going in this last 7 weeks of 2011. I'm aiming to run the Polar Dash 10k on January 1, 2012...to start things off right and cross one of my first 2012 goals off this list right away. Therefore, check this out:
This is my running schedule. Let's see if I can NOT make excuses and stick with this thing. I may have to waiver some of the runs, but this brings us to a big goal for 2011...

HIT 145 POUNDS!
